Help me build a gaming computer?

I will probably get frustrated and just take it to Fry's. They build it in like an hour or two for $30 or so.

Nah just take it easy :)
Do it yourself, it's simple, just be delicate.
At least if you do it yourself you can route the cables how you want to.

This too. It'd be better to learn how to do it yourself, because it is quite fun. What helped me was watching a few build guides on youtube, then just taking it one step at a time of which part goes where.

What do I need exactly to put it together myself?

Anti static wrist band preferably. A few screw drivers with a magnetic tip to pick up screws if they fall. Also, you could do with getting a tube of your own thermal paste like arctic silver 5, they run about 5-10.

gentle hands. a screwdriver. magnetic screw cup thing so you dont lose screws.

Make sure you build the PC on a table that doesnt have a cloth on. and make sure you're not stood on a carpet and dont wear socks! bare foot or wear shoes.
If you wanna be careful then get a grounding wrist strap and attach it to the something metal while you're building

You don't need any thermal pasta. the noctua paste is good and already on the heatsink

Definitely should build it yourself :)

Just don't build it on a carpet or stand on a carpet.

Watch plenty of videos on YouTube :)
I watched 2 and then build a mini itx PC with ease

If you want, I could put together the best price for product pc for you, then you can just buy the components from there. I would need your budget, and if you want to be overclocking (not needed).

I already got everything I need, just keeping the thread open if I have anymore questions.

The 290X isn't as powerful as other gpu's of the same price. Just saying, I'm really good at building computers.

Well I mean I'm trying to find out which ones you think are better for the same price point? A few isn't helpful.
Are you also building a gaming computer?
