Gaming is one of the most popular past times currently.
The community of gamers has such a range of ages that you could consider that in a few generations, any age group will have played a video game.
The introduction of the Wii and family gaming has, intensified that fact.

Today the world of gaming is associated with teenagers, spending night after night, playing games. Which isn't the case for most. To be a gamer you don't need to spend every waking moment playing games and to join this group I won't hold it against anyone.

Gaming is spread so wide that it is considered that most teenagers. Males/Boys/Lahds mostly will have played at least one game. (Not to be sexist, but it's true)

So to join this group you must answer the following application and post it.
There will be no open discussion any questions should be relaid to me.

So the gamers. I want this group to bring news on up coming games, general news on gaming (such as Companies closing down etc) and a Monthly release thread telling members the games to be released this week.
I also wish a weekly thread to be made with the gamers favourite trailer of the month to be viewed by the whole community.

This is a basic outline of what I want this group to achieve in helping MarketForums. Giving general content to the gaming section is the aim of this group.
This is not to be achieved straight away and will be gradually added.

What is gaming to you?: Gaming is virtual reality that lets me test potential experiences, it becomes my double life (example: Sims).
Favourite game? Reason?: That's tough. You know I used to work at a video rental store that would let customers rent movies and console games. A common question the customers [and my friends] would ask would be what my favorite film/game is - if you know anybody that works at a game rental store they will tell you that that question irritates them the most. Once you're put in a situation (not just as a store clerk) where you have power over hundreds of material you begin to open your eyes to the different projections and get a real sense of 'culture' in the game industry. That's why it is impossible for me to choose one game that rules over all the others, that is why I will post a couples games off the top of my head that are somewhere on my top 20 list (misplaced the actual list ): Fable I, Madden 06, Sims II, Pirates, Capitalism II, Dungeon (90's Russian game), Guild Wars (the MMO), Civilization III, AOE II, GTA IV (fuck the haters ). As for part two of the question, I'll discuss one of the above games. Fable I is hands down somewhere on the top three, why? Well because it hit me hard, it hit me the way games should hit everybody, Fable hit me right in the heart. I can remember myself actually crying, and feeling strong emotions due to the story. I spent atleast 100 hours playing Fable, beat it multiple times, and bought my xbox 360 only because Fable II was coming out.
What can you offer to the Gamers group?: Game Reviews, professional well thought out discussion, in depth history.

I own a gaming computer, but it's from December 2009. I also own a Xbox, Nintendo Wii & a PS3. I've used to own the Xbox 360 for 5 years but then sold it due to non interest, instead of it I bought the PS3. I play games likely everyday. I'm mainly a MMO fan, but I do like FPS games as well. My favorite FPS(First Person Shooter) game is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I've played it more than 400 hours. I love Co MW2 just because of it's nice graphics, gameplay and achievements that you can get by killing other played, doing challenges and so on. I'm also a huge fan of the famous, old game called Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, I'm playing the multiplayer and I really enjoy it since you can do anything you want, I can't forget about Minecraft either. As for my offline games list I would mention those following games: Age of Empire II, Age of Empire III, Just Cause 2, Duke Nukem(multiple versions) and so on.
