Final Koin reset

Well I had less than 1 Koin so it doesn't really matter to me but this sucks for @Michael since he was going to win a ton of coins from bets once the Brazil vs. Germany match got finished.

Nobody's Koins will be re-implemented so don't bother asking, you will be ignored.

At a later date you may once again be able to buy/sell your Koins, this will most likely just be just a temporary rule.

Everyone was complaining before about how worthless koins were. So when we take action and reset them in order to give them a better market you dont like it?
 
Thanks for the info @Philly trusting that there are good things to come in the future with the Koin system on FK!
 
What about those who bought their koins for cash? (Probably no one does this. lmfao)
 
Listen we can all complain, bitch, moan and groan but it is what it is. It will not happen again, and it WILL help us in the long run.

I lost over 1,000 LEGIT Koins that I had accepted in return for my social mediums, group/award transfers, upgrades, and god know's what else. That is equivalent to $1,000 at Koins old price. If anyone should have a reason to complain it should be me as I by far had the most, but I am here happy knowing everything will turn out great for everyone.
 
Aww. This was what all the broke boys offered since they had no cash. :(

Because some people were saving up for awards like K.R.E.A.M.
So, if one Koin was worth one USD, Philly stole money from us.

I do not mind it @Narc , maybe a warning that koins will be reset so the people who have a lot and can do something with them for the little amount we could do had a chance. All i am saying is i had 325 koins that i earned for doing services and recoveries for people and now they're just gone.
I would have bought the KREAM award and the Koin Whore award, if i had prior knowledge to this reset.

Koins will always be worthless? This isn't giving it any worth...

You cannot dictate the worth of a currency. That's just the way it is. The more restrictions and bullshit put into a currency the more it'll continue to fail. Value of a currency is based on supply and demand. There was a ton of supply before, but no demand because they were attempted to be restricted with 1:1 and all other shit. If people want them, they'll pay for them what they feel they're worth. Until these restrictions are removed and you quit trying to force a worth to them, I can promise you they'll always remain worthless. I've tried and tried to help, but been ignored for the majority of decisions.
Having no supply and still no demand doesn't fix anything. Common sense.

I'm not complaining, I don't really use koins at all anyways, whatever seems best for the site is fine. :p

It's never going to happen again, I shouldn't get annoyed because they're koins, but I am. :/
 
For the doubters, or those pissed just give me a little time, and I will prove this reset was worth it!

Giving them a better market.. how..?

The Koin market was murdered when upgrades were unable to be purchased with Koins.

Now, resetting them so that large amounts have to be purchased straight from the source?

It doesn't sound like any of this is in the members' favors. You know? The "members".. the people that give life to this community. We respect and practically love this place and the people that take care of it, but this is how we're treated? Taking our money and burning it right in front of us?

I'm mad.. yes. I have every reason to be, as do hundreds of others.
