My God, and here we are talking about being open-minded.
People bitch about people everyday for whatever reason, doesn't mean they need to improve their 'relationship skills.'
If, however, you say shit to their face and then try and become friends with them, that's when this 'skill improvement' would come into place.

What I was implying was the typical middle school situation where kids are bustling about trying to fit in with the 'norm' crowd. The age when niches are formed. People tend to steer clear of anyone outside of their group simply because they don't like what they like.

Of course these are horrible life skills and won't give you the chance to meet unique people seeing as you only hang out with the types who are into your stuff as you are into their stuff.

I'd think expanding your mind and not just disliking someone because of one factor is ignorant and are horrible skills.
