Public schools or private schools?

My friend goes to a private school. Its in the same town as where I live, so we have the same required curriculum. I learned more than him at public school than he did at private school.

I'm not sure about other countries, but in America, the atmosphere is much better and "Cleaner" at Private schools. I've gone to both, and would much rather go to a private school over public.

Doesn't matter here, both types of schools receive almost the same grants from the government, and both have decent teachers. But yeah voted for Private, I spent like 99.5% of my school life in it.

I think it doesn't really matter for the most part.. But Private schools have a greater advantage in providing better a education mostly because they have fewer students than public(this is a major problem in the cities).. But I think that's there only difference..

I agree with you i think they are both the same in the learning aspects :)

In many places, public schools and private schools are both effective. However, many public schools in the united states are not effective. Grade 11 students only have a grade 3 to 5 reading ability. Private schools are more effective in the states. However, in Canada..both are effective.

Agree with Mister tickle
In India, there is a big difference but now a days improving alot
As MT said, grade 11 have only grade 3-4 reading ability. Same Here in public schools + dirty environment etc

I've been to both. Now I can say that, there really isn't a difference here. The only difference is that at private school, you have to wear a uniform.

I would prefer private schools because I have always studied in private schools. Public schools have got some problems either with management or atmosphere.
