What Jagex wants to do with the information they got from paypal is irrelevant, if they obtained the information illegally it will be thrown out.Dr.F33LG00D said:Impsoft's case is based upon JaGex using information obtained from paypal to "destroy" their business. JaGex can file much harder charges on Impsoft for developing third party software to destroy their game, much less things they put on forums etc...This is going to be a much more intense lawsuit then people are thinking.

Zach said:The only real big case they could argue is that their business is being ruined because of it, damages. That is a valid reason to sue, however, based on the fact that RSB is built to destroy another business makes all their claims frivolous and void.
It's basically like Al Qaeda suing homeland security for interfering with his business, it's a valid reason to sue but not if you're business is focused on destroying their business.
They could probably get jagex for privacy violation or something minor.
The fact that they have challenged Impsoft twice and lost both lawsuits means they do not know US law, or have overlooked it.

This.
They have tried twice and failed twice. This third case is pretty much the same as the first two.
