I'd say that it depends on the person. For me I guess it was, either than or it just desensitized me to drugs in general. That being said, it's not like I'm doing cocaine and heroine all the time.

I agree, weed is not a gateway drug because you do different drugs in different situations (or at least I do lol)

Like for example I'm not gonna do a molly or cocaine by myself chilling, whereas you can just smoke and chill

It's completely your choice, its not like you smoke weed for 3 years and then smoke a joint and think "fuck I want to do a molly"

depending on the individual
generally speaking most people who get into harder drugs start with weed
but not all people who smoke weed get into harder drugs
personally im a bitch so i dont fuck with anything but weed/alchohol
