Is it just the PC you need or does the budget include monitor, keyboard etc?Seven said:@astro @eevee
Realistically I'll spend around $1,200.
And Eevee,
USD
I want to play with 2 monitors.
Color scheme doesn't matter.
I don't care about cooling, just need it efficient.
Size doesn't matter.

Seven said:Just the PC, I have everything else.
Eevee said:Fab, streaming/rendering or no?
One for gaming and one for browsing, I dislike multiple monitor gaming very much.Eevee said:And are you using both monitors for gaming or one for gaming and one for p0rnz?
Eevee said:Okaygimme a sec and i'll get you a build
And this will be able to run Battlefield 4, Elder Scrolls Online, and other games like that on max settings?Eevee said:Can save money by going for a different cooler or an i5 (which would affect your gaming by maybe 5FPS. But will affect rendering times. or drop down to 8GB of RAM.. (16GB will help with photoshop and Vegas though)

4690k, best i5 out, perfect for what you need, no need to get an i7.
Z97 motherboard, doesn't have a ton of useless features you won't ever use.
Good SSD for your OS, and programs to make them load faster, you can put your games and other files on the 2TB WD Black which will still load relatively fast.
R9 290x, very good card for your gaming needs.
Fractal Design R4, arguably the best case Fractal made, its a beast, and I own one myself.

EDIT: I saw Evee's build, didn't know we could go a bit over, rip. But, I probably would have stuck with an i5 versus the i7.
Yeah just a few FPS better but he mentioned Photoshop and Sony VegasKowai said:I mean both of ours are very similar, but the i7 technically is better than the i5, but its not something that would be noticeable in gaming, and if it does, maybe like 2-3 frames at the most. The i7 has twice as many threads, and 2 more mb of l3 cache which is helpful in good render time etc. If you're a heavy editor, by all means get the i7 build.
