It doesn't necessarily entail you keeping the account but I suppose it can - it literally means to 'seize' something illegally, which I think pertains to the process that we're discussing.
So my question is, for what purpose do you hijack accounts? I'm not trying to impose morality, I'm asking quite the opposite - i.e. do you hijack accounts to transfer their items for personal consumption, or do you hijack accounts in order to profit in real life?
I was threatened with court by Jagex a couple of years ago for my ownership of several phishing domains, however I don't actually know whether they would have pursued it had I continued to use them. To be honest, it's not really worth the risk.
Just to clear things up, Reverb's recoveries are entirely legitimate. There has been a perceptible slip in the quality of posting, however in most cases these users are new to the forum so I don't think that there is a fundamental issue that needs to be addressed, as it is somewhat expected.
It's definitely more inactive, but that could be down to a number of things. It seems as if most of the RuneRevolution members that initially expressed an interest in staying have done so..
