What are your thoughts on the National Guard?

Would it be good to join to pay for college?

That's what I'm doing bro. I'm joining the Army National Guard in 2 months now as Military Police =)

I think it would be an "AMAZING" idea!
My step dad is currently active duty Army National Guard and loves it.
It is a really good choice to pay for college and I recommend taking / doing ROTC in college, as you can graduate and commission as an Officer and get paid big, big bucks.

Seeing as school is roughly $20,000 - $30,000 a year, it kind of is.

National Guard would pay for almost half of that, then there is discounts for NAtional Guardsmen at colleges in my state. I could get up 100% off.
