Hello everyone...

Name's Nycro... I'm into alot ... programing (C++,PHP,JAVA not the best but can get away with some :p ) linux, windows, general electronics (Cap's resistors diodes you name it I have a SMD rework station I use for hacks) , R/C (I have a home build drone's running off a Adrino board (adrionpilot) .. theirs alot to that it incorporates alot of programing and electronics skills, Android, Computers in general, Games, Money, Sex.... lol

I'm also in my 30's married with children ...

I have several addictions that are not listed above along with my hobbies and I enjoy doing those things and teaching what I know to others (It keeps my mind off of life in general)

Well it will be nice to teach and learn!

Would be nice to talk with you l8r bout c++ and java, maybe we have something incommon with those things ;)

Indeed ... its werid how long I have been on computers my wife is always yelling that I was born attached to one.. It did'nt help when she was going through some old things and found pictures from when I was five and there I was sitting at a comodore 64 with one of those old magazines that you used to be able to get that would have basic code in them to make a game lol Anyone remeber those?

I have not made anything in quite sometime I can remeber the teenage years on the old aol, compuserve when I used to code password stealers (hey aol used to charge by the hour!) I have ran several servers since those days and I enjoy working and desging my own stuff I'm a bit of a perfectionist and sometimes it shows as I would never be happpy with anything that I worked on and my last hosting company ran out on me (I had my primary DNS servers there) Luckey I did offsite backups so I did not lose any of my work.

I would have to say that C++ is my faviortie launage it is the most versitile launage there is allthough it was alot harder to learn (And were never done learning!) In college in the 90's they were teaching VB (VB.net) to the network / network security people. I was one of the ones that tried to get C++ and PHP,JAVA introduced as I know those are much better to know and hell VB teaches itself! But most colleges are cheap and want to teach what is easiser to learn even though in the real world working in server enviorments you allmost always working with a linux distro of some kind... Including some of the switchs and routers that we worked with. (My college had a high drop out rate the 4th year we had about 11 people left in the Network Security course and only 4-5 people in the programing course (they actually taught higher languages in that course although they seemed to focus on alot on graphic design at the time) And I see that alot now a days on tv advertizing game developers you always see them designing the 3d graphics ...

My degree was really kinda worthless it may have opened some doors to get certifications but that was about it most places really worry about real world experience and all those Cisco certs (which are expensive to take!) Some places would pay for them as part of the job... (I did not help that I cannot get a security clearance in the US... lets just say kids will be kids....) So one of my first jobs out of college was network admin at a telemarketing place... the place was shady they went by the name of Aris Banc <-- see the c in there name they were not a real bank I ended up programing the auto dialer (Dont hate me!!) It was when I came to work one morning and all my equipment was not there they had moved during the night across town under a different alias and just left a woman at the building to tell us where to goto the new place.... (They did have real loan officers working there.. you see that housing bubble that burst in the US well its due to people like them they were those shady lenders who would give you a loan even if you were dead broke and no job!) I also used to be a GM for Ultima Online (Before the EA fiasco ...)

So thats why I decided from then on out I would work for myself I do consulting work on the side I have ran a hosting business for a little time (hard to make money unless you know how to..)and I do alot of stuff for others now my wife is a nurse so I have more time to dedicate to my kids so that I can teach him what I know. I really would like to get back into some kind of project I just got some servers back (although I do need a good offshore vps) Since I got screwed on all my servers last year.

I enjoy helping others im trying to work on offering some free shared hosting to some people I can do it now its just I gotta be more careful as my current servers are onshore and I hate DMCA requests lol I also am limited on IP currently alot of companies bought up whole ip blocks and the price has skyrocketed the last 2 years on securing IP addresses. I wish I lived close to a fiber connection it would be sweet to own a datacenter ! (I have the background to set up all the equipment to ! lol)

Ah well if you every want to bs about C++,Java or PHP (even VB if needed lol) or anythign computer related at all just pm or make a post I will try to help everyone that I can.
I'm writing some Linux tutorials at the moment that i'm posting in the computers section here I might post elsewhere to depending on how well its received. I just see so many servers on the internet so unprotected its not funny alot of people just do not understand what there getting into.. lol

Well thats one hell of a introduction here I usually just lurk on most forums lol
