xbox is better! 1st, more hardcore gamers play xbox, 2nd, yea no party chat, 3rd, PS3 does not have better graphics, the old backwards compatible ps3s had better graphics because of there linux based processors, and because of there blue-ray compatibly intertwined with linux, now they just suck complete ass.
4th, the reason i now hate sony, Sony is the creators of blue-ray, it was there way of changing the way we watch movies or so they make it seem, blue-ray is not but like 1/10th better than normal DvD's but they were like lets market this as HD sell millions of copy's and make millions, and thats exactly what they did.
5th, The Cell processors that sony uses looks great on paper, but IBM claims 10 to 20 percent yields when they actually try to manufacture it. Your PS3 may actually come with only 7 of the 8 cores working; Sony will accept any processor with at least 7 cores working. And if one of the cores dies...well, I hope your warranty's still active.
6th, Xbox is far ahead on motion technology with the kinect, PS3 pretty much just mimicked Wii, and the controller looks like a dildo with a ball on the end..
Well all that is my reasoning xbox is better... ohh don't forget *cough* lack of games *cough*

I have always been a Sony guy. I own a PS3 and I do love it. But the last while I been thinking about going to buy an Xbox. I cant stand PSN being down all the time, I know they were hacked this time, but Xbox is looking better and better 
Everyone knows XBOX has a way better online system. There is no argument about it.
I will never own a PS3 and will always be a 360 lover. You could take the best online player on the PSN and put them on the Live network and they would be destroyed.

Look guys, if you didn't tried both consoles then don't say thing about the other that aren't true. I owned the Xbox since 2005 and the PS3 since December 2010 and I can say you one thing. PS3 is mainly used for media, not games. Yes I know, it's a gaming console but I pretty much use it for media such as movies, music and stuff like that. If you ever played a game on the PS3 you would notice there aren't 9 years olds screaming around, PS3 has a way mature community. I was sick of those kids way back when I had the 360(well sold it in 2010). If I play games, I do it on my good PC.

Well, basically you can't compare Xbox 360 to a PS3 console, why? Simply because the PS3 is for media stuff, not for gaming. Yes I know it's a gaming console but it's more used for media since it has Blu Ray, and the graphics are better. If you're a true gamer, Xbox360 is the right thing for you.
