I have some tags i found but i add them then it goes to a generated tag but doesnt let me claim it nor does anyone have it spaced

same here on every tag I'm assuming that's cause it's reserved in the system when someone types it in, even if they don't claim it, but people are typing in the same tag at once so it messes with the system. @steveniscool

It goes to the v1 generated name because the OG was taken already. It just hadn't registered yet.
