This eBook is on how to get games for Xbox 360 for free.
I found this a couple years ago on accident and recently re-tried it.
Fairly easy and requires minimal work.

Intro:

This method will teach you how to buy a game on XBL and get a full refund.

What You Will Need:

-An Account
-Microsoft Currency on That Account

Step 1:

Purchase the game you want with the currency on the account you have.
Once purchased wait for it to download.

Note that this method will work better with games published by MS and/or full games in general. May also work with XBLA games.

Step 2:

Call MS. They'll ask you simple questions such as the account GT and email and so on, just answer the questions with the account that you used to purchase the game.

When it comes time to explain the issue say the following words..
" I have purchased a game on the marketplace but it says I need a harddrive to play "

If they ask, say you don't have a harddrive and are strapped for cash and don't want to purchase one.

They'll ask you more questions such as "what game did you purchase?"
and so on just answer them. When it comes time, state if a refund is a possibility.

Conclusion:

You will now have the game on your account purchased fully and a full refund inside your balance for you to spend on anything else.

Notes:

1: May work better with full games (disc games).
2: May work better with a prepaid MS Currency Card wether than a CC.
3: Will work better with an account that has not gotten a refund before.
4: You may face a possible console ban for doing this (I've done this multiple times and have yet not gotten banned but it's likely).

With that said, enjoy.
This may not be a smart method and some people won't do it for obvious reasons, but I'm just trying to give back.
It's just an extra method, don't flame over it.

I don't mean this in a harsh or mean way, but this is one terrible method. Your effort is appreciated though.

Understood but the method worked for me 3 times without having any hesitation nor me having to re try.

Care to explain how it's terrible?

Or, you could just buy it using paypal and charge back? Worked for my friend, worked for me when I told my Bank it was unauthorized. Less work.

That results in a console ban almost all the time, I tried that with Xbox Live Gold on some dummy accounts not attached to my console/IP and they were all banned the same day.

Nope, his consoles still good. Mine is too, and I got back like $80 in games/microsoft points.

You can only get away with so much...

Alright first of all he stated it's an old method. That tells ALOT right away. SE'ing was 100x times easier a couple years ago then it is now. I can tell this will get you in big trouble and won't work. Microsoft is no longer this stupid to be falling for this kind of garbage, nor would any employee give back a game of any amount for this reason. The risk if getting caught is WAY too high compared to your chances of actually getting a refund. Xbox security > Amazon security.

Honestly like I said I like people who contribute but I thought my comment was necessary enough to post it.

It wasn't necessary, he already stated it was old, if people think it's going to be a golden method, then they probably shouldn't be SE'ing anyways. Just be grateful he is sharing, damn.

Can't we all just get along, please?
