Why the Indian Government not considering the lokpal bill?

We all know that Anna Hazare threatened the government of India to go on fast from 15th August in case his demands for the lokpal bill has not accepted. Why the government is getting back to approve the bill? Do the government want to continue corrupt practices of the politicians?

It is hard to discuss really Is either of them genuine? Fasting ? For what purpose?
