Why So Many?!

I've been in and out of this forum quite alot recently, and i've noticed since RuneRevolution members were moved here there has been a Sh*t load more super moderators, i've been reading posts and atleast 2 super mods have posted on them, sometimes more, why so many mods all of a sudden? did all the mods from RuneRevolution keep their promotion when shifted to RuneGear?

One of the few staff (well, only 2 really) who are mature and actually deserve their position here, really. Keep the work rate and attitude up and don't let it fall with the others'.

Still, I don't know why 5 are required, as well as two Admins. Especially as at some points during the day, 5 staff members are online, and other times, none are online. Really, what is needed is staff members in different timezones, rather than the majority of which are in the American continents.
