Back in the 8th grade, I got really interested in lucid dreaming as I am seeing members on here are. Anyways, I became really good at it very quickly; I was going lucid about twice a week. This is where my world flipped upside down. Because I was always in control of my dreams, and always performing dream checks while awake, I could no longer tell the difference between reality and the dream world. I realize this sounds like I'm copying the plot of Inception but I promise I am speaking the truth. Anyways, I became so convinced that there really was no difference between this world and the world I created in my dreams. I began to do dangerous things in real life just because I believed I was dreaming. I would put my hand on the hot stove, I would attempt back-flips and other crazy bodily movements just to prove I was dreaming. I got seriously injured numerous times. I had a plan. I was going to force myself out of my dreams and move physical objects in the real world. I was going to force myself to have an out-of-body experience. This is what I did:
My intent was that I was going to go to sleep, become lucid, jump out of my sleeping body, and pick something up in the real world. Well, I almost did just that. One night, I became lucid while dreaming and started to imagine a door. This door had purple fog and stuff around it and I told myself that once I exited through the door, I would be in my room, out of my body. This is where it gets crazy. It worked. When I exited the door, I felt like I fell about 20 feet and landed on my carpet. I turned around and there I was, asleep on my bed. At this point, I totally forgot about my original plans. I was going to fly in the real world. My room is on the second story and the roof goes out in such a way that I can open my bedroom window and get on the roof. That is what I did. However, when I tried to fly, I couldn't. No matter what I did it seemed that the dream-world physics were turned off. Then I saw her. In my backyard I saw a little girl a few years younger than I run into the woods. I was going to find out who she was. I jumped down slowly off of my roof and started running after her. After she saw me, she immediately stopped. I asked her who she was. She didn't answer me. She just couldn't stop laughing and giggling. She was happier than anyone I had ever seen before. It was true bliss. After asking her again who she was, she replied saying "I'm just so happy to exist". I woke up. Who the fuck was she? I have still never seen in her outside of my dreams. What was she doing in the real world?
