Why does anyone ever use Comcast?

And yeah its not a problem till you run into some fgt that doesn't like you and you click on their IP grabber, and boom, they call in comcast and get your information.

All ISPs have 'footprints.'
E.g. Certain ISPs are only available in certain areas. There's not nationwide coverage for any ISP like that. For example, LA is mostly TWC and FiOS.
In terms of pricing, its decent for what it offers. In terms of support or security, it's obviously very weak, Frontier seems to be the best US ISP when it comes to support not being idiots and giving out info.

Some regions only offer Comcast. Since I know you're talking about how easily they are SE'd, TWC is worse than Comcast service wise/SE wise. Comcast has a bad name when it comes to being SE'd because it's the most common ISP.
