You don't 'integrate' FOV via a new console... it's put in the game.
Same with FPS for COD with strafes and bounces. You can strafe on console with 60 FPS but it's worthless. On PC you can get up to 333 FPS on most COD games. BF3 on console is capped at like 30 or 40 FPS I think.
It doesn't really make a huge difference in play style.

I would also really enjoy being able to change the field of view on console. Even though I don't play PC, I have seen videos. On Call of Duty 4, there are some infections that allow you to change your field of view (it is titled "Promod") and you could have a filter that enhanced the graphics.

I know. I played with with pro mod and the infection that gives you better color to the game and it felt like a totally different experience.
there were times when you could get those infections in CoD4 and it was amazing, the infection even changed the colours of the map. and it wasnt one of those shitty "SUB TO XXTTGMODZ" spamming infection. we just used it to play scrims and stuff, fun time.
