Why are customers so anal and unforgiving?

No really. Is it too much to ask for one eBay buyer to be somewhat lenient? Like I ship a day late because I paid for one less pound and got rejected from the post office. And he wants an entire refund for his precious shipment.

This is true in the most technical sense. I guess I'm different. If a seller shipped the item 1 day late I'd be like okay thats fine.
Like why doesn't everybody have this logic, is what I am asking?

Honestly, when I buy something I want it to be on time, unless the seller is very friendly. But if you just talk to me and seem like a dick, I will be a dick back.
Make sure to be nice to them, if you already aren't.
 
I bought my girlfriend a designer dress off eBay. It stated that it came with hangtags but it never did, so I got a full refund.
All I'm saying is that buyer protection system is broken as fuck.
 
When I buy something I expect it to be done how I payed for it to be done, I mean I understand if you explain to me why you're late and stuff but If we've never talked and I don't know you I can't understand something when I payed for a service that you did not comply, but that's just me. I'm a reasonable guy.

That's how ebay buyers are, unfortunately. I sold a brand new item to someone and they claimed it was "used."
That site has so many scammers it's unreal.
 
Because they can they don't have to be nice if they don't want to.

Yeah thanks. And to clarify they wanted the shipping refunded. I took the shipping at my cost. All of this because the highest bidder bid $350 and then said he accidentally put the bid in. So I did a second chance to the $345 bidder. No response. and a second chance to the third one ($300) who accepted. I guess Im not necessarily the luckiest person, haha.
 
Yeah, personally I hate eBay because the buyers always win in any case, buyer protection sucks for the seller, but it's awesome for the buyer.

Haha right there though! I can only imagine what large sites like Wayfair etc. go through.
