who is the decision maker in your family? in our family in terms of general decision my husband is the decision maker but she also get my opinions before he decide. for me in one family theres should be no set rule like this.what do you think guys? your input is highly appreciated

In a family the parents should be the one who make a decision...both parents..but there is some cases that you need also to ask some opinion of a family member.

In my family, my mother used to decide on things when my father left for years so most of the decisions come from her. This time, since I am living alone, I decide for myself and for the rest of the things here in the house but I still consult my mom and dad about my decisions.

I amthe decision maker and my mom also suggest me sometimes wen m gonna take big decision.

my father always made the decision for us.

In my family, me and my husband ask for each others opinion before making a decision. We always make it a point to talk about everything especially when it involves our family.

Our family is under the patriarchal rule. Pretty much all the decisioins are made by my dad. Yes, we can have our say or opinion, but in the end, his decision shall prevail. Sometimes we jokingly call it marshal law. hahaha.
