I picked 2001-2003 reason because everyone and everything was more evened out back then. I play i was having fun everyone wasn't so into the game back then all the new pking techniques new ways of cheating for money all that. 2004-2006 was good and all but i like the game back in 2001-2003 just a little bit more.

I never had the chance to play back in 2001-2003. I did once sign up in that date, but I was only around 8 and couldn't get past the tutorial island, nor did I want to. Then in 2006 I registered and was infatuated with the game, was a shame to see the wilderness go though.

Yeah i actually loved pking back then everything was so much easier today everyone always pj's and 1 iteming with underrated spec weapons, gets me mad all the time.
 
I'm one of those strange users actually, I enjoyed 2003-Present, (2003 is when I started playing) - Because yeah, The wilderness was removed, but we all had to suck it up and deal with it. But the game in my opinion, Is getting better, and hopefully in the near future, It will be EVEN better. Don't flame :p
 
I started playing in 2005. IMO I think 2007 to 2008 was probably the best. I really could care less about the Wilderness being removed in 2007 because I didn't PK.
 
2005 was the shit! I loved it, the wilderness and the originality of the game. The graphics where considered really good back then, and now it looks like a cake.
 
I liked around 2006 era. I didn't care much about the removal of the wildy but I hated the removal of free-trade and the implementation of the G.E. It killed World2 Falador which made it so easy to buy items in BULK (100k pure ess at a time and shit). Ohh how I miss world 2 Fally :(
 
I liked 2007-2008. That's when I joined a clan and started to really have fun in Runescape.
Been playing on and off since then, but it'll never be the same.
 
Been playing runescape since 3rd grade and I think the game is great.
 
I picked 2004-06 because that's when I started playing and had the most fun on the game and most of my IRL friends played it.

Although, I didn't PK like everyone else it was still fun for me.
 
2012, def not 06 i tried battlescape and dont regret rs' innovation from 2006
 
2007 easy, became maxed barrows pure, made 5 pk videos. made 1b staking.. back then that was fuckloads.

quit when free trade etc etc got fucked up, didnt play 2008.
 
2007-2008, It would have been 2005-2006, But I had no clue in 06, I was a complete Noooob. I actually started taking it seriously and getting into it more on 07, best year of my life to waste :3
 
runescape has really gone to shit they made it like one of them fancy chinese mmos with all the graphics etc, late 2005 & 2006 was best years of rs.

04-06 was the greatest days ever. If RS was still like that i'd never be bored.
