The chicken then the egg and so on and so forth. You can't have one without the other, that's just the way it goes.

The egg because it's simpler than a chicken.
The egg is a big cell and the chicken is made up of billions of small cells.

i think the chicken is first and then the egg. Without chicken no exist the egg... simply life :p but we have differents opinions but the question could be reformulated as: "Which came first, X that can't come without Y, or Y that can't come without X?"

But if talking funny things, i would say it depends on the language used on answering this.
Why?Because you asked in English. i'll answer CHicken! Because its first letter is C. C comes 1st in the dictionary when compared to EGG. Lol
 
I think it's the eggs. Maybe some dinosaur laid some eggs and then the content of the egg mutated and the result was a baby chicken. It's has something to do with mutation or evolution I guess. Somehow. Hehehe.
 
This has been a long time debate and mind boggling question. I'm not really sure lol. But I really do think this question is relative depending on the perception of the thinker.There are two sides of the story, good catch u have here.

haha! you got a point there mate,. Letter C comes first before letter E. lol. But only if we base it through the initials.
 
hahaha this is a very long long decade question that until now no can answer but me all i can say that only god knows which comes first....
