Okay, so I was like "hm, is RuneGear still up?", well... this was not what I expected to found. In reality I did not expect the forum to stay up at all.
I remember back in the days, when this was my shit. I'm thinking about starting to get into RuneScape again (this is like the third of this thread I've been doing, just different times).

Have RuneScape changed? How is this forum now? Is there anyone who "remember me" from the RuneGear time?

I'll introduce myself. I joined RuneGear when I was like 13, I was really embarrased for my age, I posted some tutorials to earn respect, without really saying something about my age I earned my respect in RuneGear. After a while I decided that coming out of the age-closet was something I should probably do, because I did really like the community.
I haven't been here since like 2012 and not been active since the forum started. When it did though, I was one of the most active and I kind of knew everyone. How large is the forum? Now I don't mean the entire memberbase, but how large is the group of active members?

Last time I tried to come back to RuneGear it was so inactive that I gave up, it was not worth it, at all.  I have about 20M in RuneScape, how easy is it to make money nowadays? If I start playing again I will not be botting, as they really fixed the botability, which is a good take; I botted as everyone else did.

Oh, by the way, I am 16 now, I go in a technical direction in my education and if somebody need some basic help with the RuneScape hacking, I could probably lend a hand, as I was one of those members who came from HackForums to RuneGear, not because it's really a talent, but the not-so-hard-things, I do remember how to perform.

Thanks for reading, I really hope the forum is something I can enjoy.

Let's hope this is actually your account, lmao. Welcome back.

Why wouldn't it be? I still have my old ducky avatar, which I also have on HF, by the same name. Anyway, I thought you were CrystuL so my heart jumped, fucking disappointment, man. Haha.

Uhm I'm just wondering,

What in the hell is Rune Gear?

RuneGear was a forum that probably have been bought by the owner of this forum, since the account database is merged. It was a RuneScape hacking forum.

If you look at phillys oldest threads you would see they all involve rune scape.

Just the thought that new members don't know about Rune Gear makes me sad. I made my account way after it was merged, but I knew about it so ;p

There's no possibility of us knowing each other, but that can be changed

@maxie welcome back mate

I don't think that Philly was the creator of RuneGear, as I do not recognize his name. Then again, I have totally forgot what his name was. I remember that the co-owner / co-admin was called Mike. It was ages ago. I think "RAF" were the original creator of RuneGear, then somebody named "Glen" bought the forum. This I found out by looking at my old threads and there is a great possibility that there is name changes involved.

Welcome back man, I purchased the forum in I believe 2013 and merged it as well. There is not too many RuneGear members around still unfortunately.

It does still like an active appreciateable forum. I look forward to becoming an active member. I do wish that old RuneGear members were still around though. That'd be party. The RuneScape section also keeps quite dead. Then again, it was a while ago since I played it aswell.

I am fairly certain @Deathcrow was a original member of RG.

I do believe I recognize him, though he was probably quite new when I left the forum as I started getting more busy in school.

Many of us from RG are now at BitLeak.net which is a forum I own.  You'll probably recognize many of the members over there such as Mike (techno), Robbie, Singer, Jam, Zain, CrystuL, slack3r, Daniel, etc.
