What's the worst you've EVER Been Scammed Before.

Honestly if you get scammed, your just plain stupid.

shouldn't trust anyone.

Not always, sometimes it's just because you don't notice something small.

Back in '07 someone wanted to buy my full rune (g) trim. He offered all unstrung bows which went like 200k over value or something like that. I figured it would be easy to sell but boy was I wrong.

Dragon claws were not out in 2007 so this thread is complete bullshit.

Mine was back in '07, some kid wanted me to sell him dragon claws for 60m, I was surprised and agreed. In the trade he changed the 60m to 6m and I didn't notice. I fail :p

What's the worst you've been scammed?

Dragon claws are a pair of claws made of dragon metal. They were released on the 26th of November 2008 Information can be found via here.

i wanna see what the OP has to say about his bull shit thread.

I wrote the wrong date. I was thinking about another scam that occured then when I offered someone my d-hide for 25k because they thought it was dragon.

Never been scammed in-game but i have been scammed buying/selling accounts.

I have never been scammed before in-game, but last month some dick head from Sythe ripped me off for the big 6m.

In-game, I was actually a REALLY good scammer, lol. I didn't do the whole social scamming where I would talk them into their money as that involved too much work for such little payout. I was very good with item switching, where I would take the item away from the trade and walk off with their money =).

I don't take full credit for it, but I was definitely one of the first pulling the Abyssal Whip scam. It just clicked in one day when I was scamming and I noticed that "Abyssal Whip" and "Absolutely Nothing" look really similar on the second screen. I was making a good 40m a day doing it and there was always people looking for more =)

I also scammed a White Partyhat, Purple Partyhat, too many masks/santas/easters/pumpkins/disks and anything else worth money at the time, lol.

Is it just me, or do I smell a pro.

350m...
but seriously? how did you not notice that? there's a big red flashing exclamation mark when a trade is altered and it also does it on the final screen too... >_>

There's an easy way to bypass that ;)

250M | Transferred all my shit to an account that I bought, and it got recovered.

I bought a maxed out RuneScape account for 350M, rushed through the trade, didn't get necessary details. I had the account for about a week, and I had gotten about another 90M or so on it, then the seller recovered it. I'm still broke from that, it was about two weeks ago.

After this, I just decided to not goldfarm anymore, or buy any accounts. I'm in the middle of maxing my current main out, it's going pretty good, and it won't be recovered! :nice:
