The grand exchange will still be in the game. It just never was implemented in the beta because that wasn't necessarily part of what you were supposed to be testing.

I think you are still slightly confused.

"Beta" isn't the updated version of Runescape. The updated version is called the "Evolution of Combat - EoC" or even Runescape 3.

A beta test is a limited release of a product with a goal of finding bugs before the final release. Software testing is often referred to by the terms "alpha" and "beta."

So you see, there was no Grand Exchange in the beta (or testing phase) of EoC before it was released as it wasn't needed. But once EoC is released the Grand Exchange will be working just like before.

In conclusion:
RSWiki didn't trick you. You were simply just confused.
