What would you do if learned that someone has AIDS?

The AIDS virus has been spreading rapidly nowadays. Before, I only look at it as part of statistics but remain apathetic until yesterday. A friend disclosed that she knew about someone living near us has AIDS. The guys is a foreigner and has been frequenting the nigh spots. What I'm thinking is he could be spreading the virus right before our own town. What would you do if you're in my situation? I couldn't report, because he has not committed a crime. I can't tell the story around since I could be sued.

You can tell him upfront, if you are that brave, that he/she should visit your nearest health center and have his condition examined or be treated.

OR

You can tell local social workers or health workers in your area that someone might have aids and they have to be aware. They will normally have that person be interviewed or checked up for confirmation. Don't worry, social/health workers can cooperate with you and will not disclose your identity as the one who reported the case.
