What should be done to a rapist who is a friend?

Hi guys. There is a big problem with me. One of my good friends is accused of raping a girl. What should I do? I have no idea. Please help.

Definitely he will have to face court litigation. Tell him to defend himself. If he's proven guilty, he'll have to suffer the consequences. I don't think you can do anything about it other than being there for him. If the accusation will not be proven then he's got no problem at all. Honestly he's the one who should be thinking how to deal with it, not you.

Guilty or not, if he is accused, he would have to face court proceedings. You cant spare him from that, he is the one involved. As for the girl, what better time to prove what has been done to her but on the very instant that she's got free from that situation. She should report it immediately to the police so she can file a lawsuit case against your friend. That should be the case. Evidence, like medico-legal reports would prove or disprove rape, Well the rest should be left for the lawyers expertise. The truth would come out eventually and justice will be served.

Rape is very bad thing .. if a girl gives you a chance to fuck then its ok but raping is very bad....

Rape is a crime against humanity and dignity. It is as well a moral issue. Your friend must face the consequences of his actions if he did it, or, defend himself through legal means to prove his innocence. A true friend is someone who will lead someone to take the right road. Therefore, if he has done wrong, you should advise him to face it. If he hasn't done it, help him get the best lawyers in town and support him morally from start to finish.

Is he accused or charged? those are 2 different things. Just a side question, how old is your friend and the supposed girl that was "raped". All you know it could just be some stupid drama that this girl is pulling. But if she goes to the police your friend is well... fucked.

Guys, you are so generous for giving your opinions. I really had a bad time facing all these. However, he has been set free of the charge as the girl withdraw the case from court. I am not aware if my friend settled the case outside after talking to the girl. Or in what other way. But ya, he is free of charge now. However, he has not disclosed anything to me regarding the incident. And also i am not pressing it. may be he wants to forget it all. I want to forget it too.

Well if hes guilty the same thing should happen to all rapist. He should go to jail. If hes a freind you should know him well, and stop and think if hes capable of this crime? Then make a decesion based on that.
