More advanced speakers, you say? Half the time I surf forums—particularly this one—I continuously question myself on whether or not some users passed grade school given their English. Of course I am completely aware that English may not be everyone's fluent language, but I know that it is for most users. It's simply the lack of effort they put in within their posts. It is good that you feel forums have bettered your comprehension and perhaps made you a more intelligent individual, but you could learn more by cracking open some books and reading. Just saying.

I agree, since joining my punctuality has increased tenfold, mainly because of @'Cann!bal' and a few others when I joined constantly picking me up on my mistakes.

Some of those "intelligent" people are just ostentatious. I can just as well add fluff to my posts, but it's not required most times.

I can relate. I wouldn't so much say it's my comprehension level, though. My writing has improved tremendously. Given, I have also continued my education, but I guess FK is a nice outlet to apply it.
