What everyone needs to realize

I know I've been inactive for ever and I'm really in no place to say anything but what everyone needs to realize is this forum is dying. You may be saying to yourself "not another one of these threads", in fact its not.

If we want to help RuneGear and keep the memories we all have, we need to make a group effort. With TE gone and Mike in charge for now it leaves Mike and the staff members. The can only do so much the rest is up to us.

We can help RG by clicking ads (Generates money), Posting daily, showing friends, putting a RG signature in your signature on other forums (Don't break any rules).

Just my 2cents, I'm going to try to start posting again myself.

I've been banned since last November or so, and I decided to come back when I saw that TE was taking a vacation, (pretty much), and I can't see this site go to complete shit.

Just the motivation people need, I think community events would help if anything.

DrecliN, It's great to see a high quality member start posting again. Guys, this thread is helping you, and telling you what YOU can do to help generate activity for Rune Gear. Please.
 
The wrong things are being focused on..

To be honest, I don't know why money was spent on a new theme for a dying forum.
Content has a much higher priority than a what a forum looks like, and money should've been spent on advertising in an attempt to gain an increase in traffic.
Not only that, but generalizing this forum as just another gaming forum (expanding into 465121 other games) makes us no different to the other 342894213553241 gaming forums out there.
Runescape 'hacking' is this forums niche, and we should stick to it as that's what identifies us as being different. Not only that, but it means much less competitors.

Less competitors -> More Traffic -> More members -> More Upgrades -> More money -> More advertising.

SEO should also be looked at.
Seeing 'Runescape Hacking Forums' on Google is much more appealing to people (kids) than 'Runescape Community Forums' for a start.



A lot needs to be done to 'revitalize' this place..
 
Clicking ads can get ad sense disabled. Wouldn't recommend it.
 
When people post/make threads it motivated others to post, I try to post on as much threads as possible with out LQ/spam to help RG.

It kind of looks like botting is starting to wiggle it's way back, so that is a huge plus for us.

I started posting, I feel I havn't done my part for the forum.
 
I know my money donated to the forum was not a waste. I know this forum isn't going to die any time soon, But I know it easily can if we let it within a month or two.

Botting may be back, but most of the botting activity comes from Auth codes, which I dont think nexus are coming back.
