Looking for either stainless steel or gold. 

Brands I'm looking for:
Versace
Gucci
Invicita
Armani

Preferably on Amazon with prime.

All of those are massive rip-offs and low quality. If you want a watch that is actually Swiss made and has a mechanical movement get a Seiko or Tissot. Frederique Constant also makes beautiful watches in that price range, highly recommend them.
Seikos can cost as little as $100 and they are excellently crafted, much more so than any of the brands you listed. Those brands are called "fashion watches", they're ideal for people who just want a nice watch without caring much about other elements than its looks.
You won't find real solid gold in that price range btw, only gold plated.

Seiko and Citizen are excellent watch brands. As I understand it, you're listing designer companies and you may not know that much about watches. If that's the case, I suggest you research what watch brands are most high quality within your budget. One of my watches is a nixon 48-20 that I really like. Nice sturdy watch that complements anything from casual wear to suit & tie occasions. I suggest you get a stainless steel watch, as gold just looks tacky on anything that isn't actual gold (aka gold plated watches).
