What is VIP? Is it people that helped a little witht he forum?

I believe it was an old group before Oynx. If you look, every single of those "VIPs" have the Onyx award, likely was something different before.

VIP is from rune gear , it's just there since the merge

It's the old usergroup from Runegear, I believe. I think it's similar to what Onyx is now.

Everyone upgraded on RuneGear had VIP. The user group was left as is so that if a user returns they can be given Onyx in it's place.

It's the first level of RuneGear upgrade that I was suppose to move to Onyx. Never got enough time to do it.

Ahh the memories. As others said, it was previously called RuneGear Elite, purchasable for $5. I miss it so much!
