Video Editing

I want to get into Video Editing and was Wandering what are the best Programs ?
After Effects is one anymore?

After effects, cinema 4d or element for 3d texts (cinema 4d is better for models like characters, element is a plugin for ae), bonjour (kinda like cinema 4d), sony vegas for shit like velocity or final cut pro, photoshop can play a big factor in animations, its mostly just plugins you should be interested in.

A do be premier pro (final cut pro - if you have mac) much easier to edit with.

Then use Element, it's quicker and less of a hassle and not bad for a plugin.
