Here's another suggestion.

The concept of 'Verified' or 'Trusted' as either a group or award.
Philly would handpick users to represent the group/award. These users would be of the upmost quality and be trusted by all - no scam history, nothing.
This could be further supported by having to send in specified personal information to Philly himself, such as full name, address, age, things like that.
The list of verified users could also be limited to like 8-10 people at one time.

Anyway, just an idea. It could give people an incentive to do legitimate trades on the forum.

I hope it's agreeably a cool idea.
 
This has already been thought of by Philly, just hasn't been implemented to my knowledge.

Me and mason had the trusted award at one point, Philly made us rename it since it could be misleading. I totally agree you never know who May scam. And if any1 scams with the award it loses all it's credibility.

I agree with you, it would definitely lose it's value.

Philly would have to literally have all faith the person I guess.

Thinking about it now, it would be a lot easier and not as weird if he went along with Verified.
 
Rather than "trusted", name it "Respected". Same idea, not misleading.

Just like so many people complain about not having power+.
It's not really any different, they would just get told to shut up.

The idea isn't the fact that they are respected by people.
It's that they're completely trusted. The name could be "Verified" or something along those lines.
But "Respected" would definitely not fit the description of the suggestion in my opinion.
 
Support! Legit people (such as myself) need awards to help us stand out. Maybe like a group for "Highly Trusted" users. These users would be Highly Trusted by Philly himself so you could deal with confidence when placing them in a position of trust.
 
This has been discussed numerous times. It hasn't been added due to numerous conflicts and marketplace reasons.
 
This was already suggested last year I believe.
