Username Changing

This has probably been asked many times in the past,
If I changed my username, would my old one be able to be taken by another member, or would it disable anyone from registering it?

Any user would be able to take it, hence you changing it.

If you dont wanna be impersonated just make a thread announcing your name change

If you change your name just make a thread letting everyone know. Then nobody will impersonate you.

Once the username has been changed, it'll be available for anyone to take at any time.
