The new aura reveal by RS

Personally I think auras will be amazing

Being a RuneScape member means more activities, more quests and more skills. From June the 28th it will also mean access to a fleet of unlockable and exclusive rewards with the introduction of the Members’ Loyalty Programme.

The concept is simple. Being a member earns you Loyalty Points that can be traded for rewards, including an array of new clothes; brand new and exclusive emotes; and, perhaps most exciting of all, an arsenal of gameplay enhancing auras.

I honestly think RuneScape is becoming like every other MMO out right now, with a cash-shop. Only Jagex is making it "reward points" for being a members; aka, you get points or credits for paying your membership and get outfits, auras, emotes.

It kinda pisses me off, even if I bot more than I legit.

My prediction is auras add values onto stats, like a Strength aura for +2 strength or something.

Something overpowered and exploitable upon launching; just you watch.

Lamest upgrade that RuneScape will get.
Auras are simply a joke if you ask me. Aura is supposed to be around the entire character not only part of it, otherwise it's not aura if you ask me - it's just a glowing hand/weapon handle. Not to mention that the new costumes are abominations, I'd expect to get something beneficial or at least cool from being loyal member and not something that is completely useless and looks really bad.

In conclusion this update is a joke and we'd be better without it, because we get exactly same benefits without it.
