What is Complexity?
Complexity is group of complex individuals ranging from some of the most legit and trusted members to the creative and more tranquil members. When our members decide to depart if they choose to do so, we hope they leave knowing a bit more about the wonders of ForumKorner. Our overall goal is to build and maintain a certain amount of experience and quality when it comes to our members. Complexity is nothing without the members who have grown with it. To our members that will grow with us we hope to educate you on the rules, the marketplace, and as well the tutorial section, with the knowledge you learn we hope that you decide to pass it on for the greater good. In conclusion, Difficult and I will put everything we have into this group. We hope to show ForumKorner that groups are more than just a userbar or a username color.
We are more than just a family. We are Complexity.

How do I get into Complexity?
You get into Complexity by writing at least a 200 character response to this thread describing to Difficult and myself why you deserve to be in this group. Please be as detailed as possible. You may also want to include your achievements on the forum, in real life, or just all around good qualities about yourself. It is a simple task for us to get a good feel for you. Please include your age and state or country.

Requirements:
-Must be upgraded to Onyx
-Must have been a member of this forum for at least 2 months
-Must have at least 1 week online
-Must have over 500 high quality posts

Other notes:
Complexity is an invite only group. If we like your response and what we see on your profile then you have a chance to join. We will only be accepting 1-3 member per month. If none of the entries are up to par then no member will be accepted for that month. We are trying to stay in a quality over quantity state. Good luck to all, we look forward to seeing your entries.

Here we go ladies and gents your time to shine ;)

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

Good luck to all of the participants that will partake in this recruitment challenge.

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

I'll leave an application I guess. If you only pick one person per month, it'll be empty for like a year, how's that going to work? Just curious.

I'd like to join. I'm a fan of joining new groups, meeting new people, and maybe even learning something new. I'm against bullshitting about how "HQ" I am, as others may enjoy, so I'm not going to do so. I will say, I enjoy helping out members with whatever it may be. I'm always active within groups and do what I can to represent it in a positive manner. I've been a member of forumkorner for over a year and have no intentions of leaving soon. Oh, my name is Chad, I'm from the US. As for accomplishments, I'm not sure what to include. I'm probably the most proud of my ability to learn things quickly and stick with things I'd like to do.

That's about it. It's a cool group, I hope to join sometime in the future, good luck with it.

Great response! Way to set the bar high man! Your response will be taken into consideration. Thank you for putting the effort in. Also, what is the point of an elite group if you let a ton of members in right away? I have already gotten multiple request to join from UserCP, so some people do want to join, but those people have been blacklisted.

Not letting a ton, I mean a few people to start wouldn't hurt though. It'll be hard to keep subforum activity with 3 people, if that makes sense. :p

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

My Alias is Damnation, and I have been a member of Forum Korner for one year and four months. During that time I've made thousands of posts, made some great friends, and bettered as a person. When I joined FK, I was depressed. Very depressed. Forum Korner wasn't the reason I overcame my depression, but it definitely had a part. I had the support of people I hardly knew, and I instantly knew I wanted to be a part of this Forum. I started out on the marketplace, back then that's where all the activity was. From the very beginning, I adored the site Veteran's. Members like Chronos and Tupac inspired me to post. And once I had made an impact on FK, they noticed me, and not too soon after we became friends, the entire site knew my username. My goal has always been to make the same impact on new members, as the site Veterans. And though I may not have seen this site rise up from the ground like they did, with a UID under 10K, i'm one of the Veterans myself. I don't brag and flaunt, I just keep posting, and keep looking forward.

This is the kind of determination I see in the members of Complexity. I see this group wants to keep posting, and keep looking forward. To make a good impression on new members, and keep all sub forums active. Why do I want to be a member of Complexity? Because this group wants the same things I do.

I hope I am considered. Thank you for your time,
Damnation

Come up with a better and original idea, unlike Valiance.

How is this at all like Valiance? I am not copying and pasting their thread over? I am not having my recruits report a ton of random posts to have a shot at getting in. I am letting 1 or only a limited amount of people at a time, which many groups do. I just asked for people to write a response on why they would like to join Complexity. I do not see why you are hating on this thread...

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

I'm not talking of copying thread. The challenge and 1 Member per month is an idea similar to Valiance.

Not even. They are doing challenges by the week. All users are posting on their thread is the amount of reported post that they have at the moment.

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

Yeah, I think this is similar to the way most other groups work (writing something explaining why you should be accepted), except a ton of people won't be added. There is nothing wrong with this.

I'll write something up when I'm at a computer, today is my two month anniversary :)

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

Good luck to everyone trying to join, sadly I don't meet the requirements.

Looks like a great group though.

Congrats man! And I agree that it is similar with the writing why you want to be in. There has to be a common thing in the group RC's though, it is hard to get people to enter otherwise.

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

Introduction

Let me start this off simple; My name is Profanity. I am a 16 year old teenager who loves to listen to music.
I skateboard, edit, bike ride, and do many other things on my free time or as hobbies.
I've been a member of ForumKorner since July. This is and has been the only forum that I have used.
I started off slow but have gained respect within and between some members over a short period of time. After taking a 1-month/2-month break, I have come back. Now we are here.
I will post my achievements and qualities below.

Achievements

•Assisted and succeeded acquiring a users money back after that user was scammed.
•Thread, created by me, stickied. Topic and Title based on/is "Taking Safe Steps to Prevent Yourself From Being Scammed".
•Formerly active within the "Contests, Giveaways & Requests" section of FK.
•Never scammed, not one scam report has been opened, and have done many successful deals.

Qualities/Hobbies

•Generally Kind.
•Supportive.
•Talkative.
•Editor of 3 years.
•2D Designer.
•Marketing Skills.

I always try to maintain a good level of kindness and like to talk. The last little bit may be a little "bad" and I'll get to that near the end.
I have been an editor for 3 years now and like to think that I am exceptionally good. I'm starting to move on into VFX now and can do basic 3D concepts within editing. I have been a designer for a short period of time. I only do 2D concepts and don't consider myself that good but I still have lots to learn.

Why I Believe I Should Join Complexity

I believe that joining Complexity will help me expand and grow my knowledge and social skills by meeting and talking with fellow members within the sub-forum or chat (if there is any). I can bring and share my knowledge with fellow members and also share a intellectual opinion on certain topics. I act with a professional manner and can support members in a variety of topics/things.

Everything stated above is why I believe I can join Complexity. The group itself seems well mannered and stable.

Extra

•Since I am extremely talkative person, I can get a little annoying at times.
•I was active before I took my break and I'm becoming active again.

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

I'll leave an application and lets see how it goes.
First off,I currently do not have any usergroups and would love to be in one to meet new people and make new acquaintance. I meet all the requirements but as for the "500 HQ posts", I'll let you guys decide. I believe that user groups allow a sense of belonging and a "clique' between the members and it would be great to be in one. Hopefully you take the application into consideration and hope to hear your response soon.

RE: Complexity: Recruitment Challenge

Very nice group Mason and Difficult, the color is really nice and I really like the user bar, I would apply but I don't see the point if you're just choosing 1 member per month, how is this going to work exactly?
