Ok so the other night i was playing MW2 on my GT and i got into a FFA lobby with a bunch of people with random GT's with numbers and shit but i didn't really care. First thing the guy says is "wow that's a short gamertag, a Really short gamertag, i never woulda thought those existed or i ever would have seen one". And i said "Oh thanks..." expecting the guy to talk shit but we just started talking and lauged a few. Well the game starts up i'm running around with a Barrett feeding and some guy is running around with dual rangers. Well i start running around with a shotgun as well but i notice when i kill these players instead of screaming "O U FAWKING FAGGUT, EYE WHILL FAWK UR MUM" they said "Oh nice kill dude, you're pretty good". And like the one game i won this one dude was like "Oh nice game dude good game, i hope next time i do better and am as good as you", or they said "good game sir good game, i applaud your excelence". Honestly these players i met were like kids from 07. You know the kids that all day laughed when they got killed and played for fun and sat in Halo 3 custom game lobbies all day. So i invited this one guy who was really chill to a private match when he saw me do a barrel role with my spas in the final kill cam. I showed him everthing like Wrist Twists and righty Tightys and cat walks. He flipped out and was like "WOAH HOWD YOU DO THAT?!" we were just having a good time. Needless to say I had the best night on Xbox in a long time because everyone acted like mature adults and had fun. No one cared if they got spawn killed they just giggled. The other night made me realize, It doesn't matter what your Gamertag really is just as long as you have fun. So i decided i was "living a lie" on xbox. I had only like 19 friends and made sure all of them were "OG" which is really pointless cause 99% of oG's suck ass and feel they're better than everyone because of their tag. So i decided to go on all my old accounts and add everyone because they really are my true efriends. Not these fake as fuck kids that just talk shit. Basically to sum it all up I met kids who were like indians. They (the indians) had no idea of the europeans (the trickshotters and kids like us), had no idea what a OG was and only played for fun just like xbox was intended for and like the kids when Halo 2 and 3 thrived. In all honesty i wish Xbox would go back to how it youstu be, no one talked shit, their would be Halo 3 custom games with multiple cg lobbies going on with 16 peeps in each playing "Fatkid" or "Team Fortress" or even "Ghost busters" with 300k people online when Halo thrived. I wish Gamertags didn't matter. Honestly the first years of me on xbox was amazing and i met great friends and people along the way and wish that it could go back but know it's impossible, but now as 2012 comes to a close i realize that I get angrier and meaner on xbox then i started. Everyone insists on starting something on xbox now rather than have a mature conversation, i don't play for fun but for K/D which makes me rage when i die. I still have my first xbox which has the price tag on it and says "399.92$" which was the premium 20gb core console which broke a week after i got it :/ I got it on like november 22nd 05 or something like that. I still remember all the dashboards, the first one i had the black skin which i'm pretty sure was the original skin that came on it. It had on the main page like where it said "play game" it actually showed a replica of what the disk drive looked like, and the nxe dashboard which introduced avatars, then the one after that which was like in 10 i think, then the newest one, but i'm pretty sure i'm missing a dashboard update. Sorry if i kept getting off topic during this, but basically i just wanted to say i miss the old XBL experience and my old friends and just wish it would come back. Anyways sorry if this post sounded tarded and stuffs, i'm just saying how i feel.

I know what you mean. Once in a while I get in lobbies with chill mature people, but other times I play with kids who think they are the shit over the internet. I am 16, but I act mature and don't go around talking shit to everyone I see or think I'm the best.
I read that whole thing & I wish Xbox was like that. It irritates the fuck out of me when people go around just screaming & yelling at everyone. It's a game. It's meant to be played & to have doing it, not to go around yelling every time you die.

You should have seen it back then when you're searching with a team on Halo 2 or Halo 3 people would ALWAYS say "Good Game" after or just have fun. Now it's filled with 8-14 year old faggot kids who just want to play CoD and shit these days.

My friend got a PS3 because ms randomly reset his rep after he was at 74k and was part of achievment hunter, they didn't even give him the Cheater zone.
