Twitter Followers

Is there anyway I can get a couple thousand Twitter followers for free? Besides doing somesort of tedious task to get 'em? Can anyone hook me up with some? I was thinking of buying some but I figured I'd ask here first.

Yes I can get you some, It's pretty easy to manipulate twitter.
I have 9k followers and 20 tweets. They've stuck there for a good 4month's now.
