tl;dr is Ruining the Internet

I enjoy making sense. I enjoy making sure that I make sense by making somewhat lengthy threads and posts. I also enjoy repetition for effect.

What I do not like, however, is when people complain about actually having to read my posts.

See, the Internet is a magnificent place for sharing information; it has brought about the world's greatest innovations in the past two decades. It only makes sense that more information should be shared with as many people as possible. With this being said, it hurts me to see "too long; didn't read", "no one is gonna read that", or "what makes you think i have the time to read all of that?" as replies to good, wholesome, legitimate, thought-provoking threads.

I feel like the Internet community is becoming lazy (lazier). So much so, that these teenage kids would rather lurk /b/ (or even other boards in this instance) for porn than get in IRC and help change the world (or respond to interesting threads elsewhere).

I have witnessed firsthand how a group of teenagers (Anonymous) can change the world for the better (or the worse). Therefore, I expect a higher standard for those on the Internet in general, which happens to be a place for those who are a bit smarter than the public in my opinion. Forums are a place for computer enthusiasts to share information. Be thankful that others have made such elaborate threads; you can learn many good things from them. I just would hate to see utter brilliance just completely wasted on hentai or low-quality posts.

I'm sorry if all of that sounded a bit sporadic but I had to show you what I see, and how what I see makes me sad...

Who else is tired of "tl;dr"?

I will be completely honest. It is getting late and my eyes are tired, so for me, that was a bit too long and I didn't read all of it.

But with all of your threads being hq, I'm sure it was a good one.

( I hope you get the joke )

Umm... Yes. I get the "joke" entirely.
