Coughing is a natural instinct for your lungs when inhaling smoke. Just because you cough doesn't mean your a "Pussy" or a "NooB" smoker, everyone cough's.
These are some tips i have come up with that help me to not cough when smoking.
1) Before you are about to hit w.e you smoke from inhale your lungs to max capacity, then exhale. Basically take a big deep breath before.
2)When inhaling, only inhale to about half capacity of your lungs when hitting a pipe, bowl, bong or w.e you smoke from. Use your the rest of the capacity of your lungs to inhale the smoke further down your lungs until you can't handle it.
3) When your lungs can't take it anymore EXHALE ALL of the smoke, even when you think its all out, exhale one more time to be sure.
4)Do not cough with smoke in your lungs, this will cause you to choke for a second followed by a bad cough.
5) Drink some water or a cold beverage to sooth your throat.
