Timing Out

Hey all you computer freaks! i need your help, well not really me but my friend.

Story: My friends internet will work PERFECTLY untill it gets to 5:00 PM and it will instantly cut him from the net and he's tryed reseting it and all its still not working, is there a solution to this? or what?

He will get limit access to his wireless and his symbol will come up with a yellow triangle like a danger sign and from then on he cannot access internet is there a way to fix this?

Has he tried to even call his ISP? should be one of the priorities.

All the other computer in his house are working on the internet fine just his laptop.

Tell him to ask his parents if they've put a lock on the internet..

nope no locks... Its only recently happened like that last 3-4 days

Yeah they prob put a timer on it so it cuts off at a certain time.

Use an ethernet cable.
If that doesn't work, have a look through the modem's settings, see if there's anything out of place. -> restrictions etc.

He's tryed ethernet doesn't work either ill tell him to look through restictions etc...

Sounds like his parents put restrictions on his time.
Is he sure that they didn't do that without him knowing?

he's sure, because he has 2 laptops and they would've restricted both of them if they did.
