There's a bug that is abused in stakes. It's where players give themselves the ability to leave the stake at any point and get back any cash/items they had put up for staking.
Essentially this means they can stake without any risk.
If they are going to win they do nothing and just win.
If they are going to lose they force their way out of the stake, get the cash back.
This bug took on many names, a lot of people thought it was a form of X-Logging, which is where you close your RS session (close the window or releaod the page) and after ~30 seconds runescape logs you out, even while in combat.
But the flaw in this thinking is that the people wouldn't know which stakes they were going to win or lose when closing the session. It was obvious they made their choice to leave nearer the end of the fights.
Well, this bug is done by abusing what's called "interface priorities", they would go into a stake with a friend, get out of it using the interface priority bug, but the game still thought they were in the stake.
They would then go and find a stake, say for 500m, they put up there end and go in, now the friend they were originally in a stake with is still in the arena, by himself, with no opponent.
The glitcher would have him at the forfeit trap door, ready to click "Yes" to leave. If the glitcher was about to die, he will tell the friend "Leave" or something, the friend will forfeit the original stake, which chain reacts and pulls the glitcher from his current stake.
After 15 minutes, as long as you don't leave the duel arena area, you will get the 500m back.
This method has now been leaked to youtube, and apprently patched (I can't confirm this.)(They used the citadels language update yesterday to cover the real reason for updating, this patch).
Here's the video, they used clan wars instead of another stake, so the guy leaves the portal instead of forfeiting, but it's the same principal.

Anyone got any screenies using this bug?
