Sponsors will not be removed and will benefit from the same discount RG Elite members get. The RG Elite will not be accepting new members and will be replaced with Premium Membership. All current RG Elite members will stay the same unless they decide to upgrade.

You don't have to pay to access the forum, but for features which cost a lot of money each month we have to have a return. There will be non-premium competitions, but the prizes will be nothing like the Premium members competitions.

There also will be private premium members forums.

Thats not the point. We're the ones providing you with the money just to have access to a certain forum or a certain giveaway, those are nice and all.. but YOU aren't the one paying MONTHLY for these. I was well ready to settle and get either RG Elite And/Or Sponsor knowing it was lifetime and I'd have it for good. Also, What are you.. trying to welcome more leechers? Theres more of a chance of a leecher paying a mere $2.50 or $5 however you want to price it per month than paying a SET price due to the fact that the amount is higher, so the thought process of "will i be around for a long period of time" will raise. Not to mention, are we now paying MORE to have better access to a community some of us call home? Don't get me wrong because im not an RG Elite or Sponsor, But i could have EASILY and have been going through this thought process for a while and when i finally came down to the decision, this bomb is dropped. Not liking this update. Sorry. Lifetime > Monthly many will agree.

EDIT - So it's also now going to take 1 payment for the wrong person to leech out the stuff to other people or other forums since it's now cheaper and MONTHLY? They can easily stop the payment and move on after stealing everything from your "private" forum.

People will keep RG Elite, unless they want to upgrade to Premium.
You won't be able to buy RG Elite after August 1, so buy it while you can. After August 1, if you want Premium you can buy it, and if you are RG Elite, you will receive a 50% of discount, each month. You will only need to pay once for RG Elite, but after August 1, no one will be able to get RG Elite.

No, premium members are the new usergroups that have access to exclusive contests and content which is why you have to pay a monthly fee to stay enrolled.

Well, I know that but what I was asking was if sponsors would receive an extra incentive for being a sponsor (ie; one month of free premium membership).

I'm pretty sure we will simply retain all benefits we have now, as well as a discount of 50% to Premium. Pretty good when you think about it, keep Sponsor forever, and you can get premium waay cheaper than everyone else.

$2.50 a month. If you were to buy Sponsor it would be $25. It is lifetime although it doesn't really give any benefits over Elite. Premium(If you already have Elite or Sponsor) will cost you $25 over 10 MONTHS. 100% worth as you could easily make over $25 in those 10 MONTHS of competitions.

But that's were a problem occurs for users like me. Making a one time payment would be far easier for me than keeping up with a monthly payment every single month. I could easily save for a PrePaid MasterCard/Visa, Purchase Premium (If it were given a permanant option to buy) and buy it and be set for life and happy. Now, I do not have a Credit Card. I do not have a Verified PayPal. I do not sell RSGP currently and to do that per month is work, gathering then selling it just to support visiting a certain section of a forum that i am dedicated too. As you can see, it would be a lot harder for me to make monthly payments rather than taking the easy route of a one time, lifetime payment.

Okay, lets say you buy premium for one month, thats $2.50 or about 5m rsgp.
Glen tosses up a contest for 50m and all people have to do is write "I RG" on their chest, nipples exposed. I'm pretty sure you'd make back more than $2.50 in that one month.

Of course it'd be a different story if there were only premium events every couple months seeing as you'd basically pay $2.50 for nothing

You do not have to pay.
I would expect you would be able to purchase it in bulk, for example a years worth for $30 or whatever if this is easier for members.
