I basically want to change my IP and I am connected through a router, now how do I change meh ip?

The method going through cmd and using ipconfig /release, then going to local area connection properties did not work.

Hold the reset button on your modem/router for about 30 seconds, and it will change.

Nope, my ip did not change for those.

I actually don't know that answer, how do I find out?

Cmd > Ipconfig > Connectionspec.
Says : dynamic.(hostname) for me

You can call your ISP and ask them what you have. Or if your IP doesn't change when you turn your router off or that flush thingy in CMD. Then you have static.

True, if you have got a static IP you can't change it by yourself.
You can call your provider, and ask them for a new IP.
You should have a good reason tho, because they usually don't give new ip's (Unless they are dumb)

Please keep your retarded suggestion for retarded people like you.

I guess I have a static IP.

If you really want to change your IP, try to call your provider and give them a good reason

Just ask if you can get a dynamic IP. You maybe have to pay extra IDK.
