Techniques for parallel parking?

I would go on Youtube and look up Parallel parking tips it also depends on what car you are driving.

Okay. You want to make sure the front of your car is facing the back if the car in front of you. Basically you want to be parallel to the car in front of you but at a bit of an angle. Then you want to cut the steering wheel all the way to the right. Then you want to back up into the spot. Then you cut all the way to the left and align yourself with both cars.

Them you basically straighten out.

Make sure you leave space in front and behind you do you can get out.

Then repeat the process but backwards.
 
Took my drivers test on Thursday. It is a lot easier than I thought it is to parallel park. Just set up points on the car that you can relate to when backing up. That is what I did.
 
If you live anywhere other than a big city you really don't have to worry about it too much. I never really have to worry about it where I live. Truthfully, it's not that difficult, I drive a 1990 GMC Suburban (big ass vehicle) and have almost no problems.
 
Lmfao!!!!! Imagine! Your like straight up ill buy u power + just pass me hahaha. But tips of parallel parking is to turn the wheel completely. Take your time, check your mirrors! You might want to practice and step out of your car to see what u did right, and what u did wrong.
 
Practice makes perfect! Watching videos will give you a good understanding, but you should practice if you are able to!
 
Line up to the car. Turn the steering wheel to the right one turn. Then back up until the cars lights are in the middle of your window. Then turn the wheel all the way to the right and back up into the space. This technique was taught to me by my driving school I find it 100% easier to do when parallel parking.
 
I'm a pretty good parallel parking, my whole family will let me park the vehicle if I'm with them because I get it done in a fraction of the time it would take them. Never had to explain it over the internet though, so this might get difficult.

If there is a car parked infront of the parking spot you are going for, pull up next to the vehicle. Put the vehicle in reverse, and turn the wheel so you are backing up and turninig into the parking spot, Keep your eye on the sideview mirror, when you can see the entire front end of the vehicle behind the parking spot you are trying to park in, Turn the wheel the other way so your front end starts pulling into the spot. If done correctly, you should now be parked nearly perfect in the parking spot.
Adjust the front or back end accordingly, but for the most part, You should be good.

Obviously it would be alot easier to show you in person, which isn't possible, so I would just say look online for Youtube videos, of check locally for Driving Instruction courses, they tend to be cheap (sometimes free), and they'll help you with anything you need.

I've had my license for almost 3 years now, and I passed my drivers test on the first try.
 
Thanks for tips guys. I've taken a driver's course last year, but didn't really pay attention when my instructor was telling me the technique to parallel parking. I just did what he told me and didn't pay attention lol. I think I have something in mind, but I just got to see if it works.
