Tag Taken Back?

Can a tag get taken back if you swapped it
and
cleared the console history on xbox.xom​

Some people say it is possible if the person has the information to the account that the gamertag was originally on. But personally i think its a myth. If you ask me if you swap the tag and Clear all the console sign-ins etc. Everything will be okay. I have never heard anyone having a problem. But i can't promise anything.

Yea, if they have all the info to it Xbox takes it back an if you were the last one to recover it you will be console banned

Yes. I was speaking with an XBL Agent about another issue. She asked if I had any other questions at the end, and I asked this exact question.

She told me that if someone was to file an "Unauthorized Access" on the gamertag, and if they find that someone gained access to the account, and changed the gamertag, then the person that called it in will get his tag back.

yeah if a person had enough info on that account they can call an UA in "Unauthorized Access"

you only get it back if you were legitamately the owner/creator of the gamertag. If you bought it its unlikely, and on top of that the tag normally gets banned if the og owner files a UA and doesnt get the tag back.
