Get a good friend of yours. Both of you put it on high (depending on what turbo you have), and then change it. one of you should get it. also, i would wait till your tag dies down. don't add anyone or tell any snakes.

I'd run 1-2. Also, there's a method that will ensure the tag you want swapped won't be able to be claimed by anyone. I'd rather do that.

If I am not mistaken, it involves calling MS. I believe they swap it for you, from what I have been told.
