It's removed, for supporter members. 

The purpose is for you to see it, that is 100% the entire point of the whole thing.

I think i was the first buyer, i have yet to receive these awards.
 
Ads are still displayed for Supporter members. Actually, for all members. But I guess if it helps the site, don't let anyone not see advertisements.

Supporter members do not see advertisements, every other group does. If you have any other upgrade however there is a glitch that still makes them be displayed temporarily, this should be fixed tonight.
