I attempted fishing last time, managed to get to 94 before giving my account to Scenery in a giveaway.

I might contemplate mining, cooking seems relatively quick...although it requires money for the beginning procedure, unless I were to do fishing as well, like you suggested.

Might begin with mining and see how it results.

Mining is pretty good for earning money (if you keep the ore). It is also quicker now with the action bar being used for dropping the ore.

I'll potentially keep the ores in case I survive this and intend to bot another skill, it'll take longer, but at least it'll be worth it.

I currently use powerbot (www.powerbot.org)
You can find their list of free scripts here:

Depending on what you're intending to bot, will determine which script you'd like of course. If you're familiar with Powerbot than you'll be aware you're required to register and as a free user you can add up to 3 scripts at any time to your bot client.

I think it is just cool to see what you are able to do. It could start as one 99, then 2, then maybe 5, etc.

Eventually it could become a good money making skiller or even just an account with great stats that you could sell or just show off.

Depends what you're doing. I think LRC, frost dragons and those things that are heavily botted are being watched by the Jagex thing "Botwatch", and many people has been banned from it.

Most the legit players afk anyways.
